What Happens at a Belltown People Creator’s Meeting?

Why…. I’m glad you didn’t ask. Jordon was kind enough to swing by last month and add his perspective. He wrote about the experience in his blog TheWorldOfStuff. Since I’ve been living in Seattle’s Belltown neighborhood, I’ve been reading community blogs like BelltownPeople (a.k.a. Belltown People, belltownpeople) to find out what’s going on around here. Last Wednesday, Jesse and Trina, the people behind the blog, held a meeting for readers, neighborhood residents, and pretty much everybody who wanted to come. The meeting was held in a basement of a hostel that wasn’t far from my apartment. Nothing could be too far away since this isn’t a huge neighborhood, but it was particularly close. There was free pizza and beer, and I was one of the first people to show.

    I have to admit: that was kind of weird to read. And yes, I pretty much had to click the link since you mentioned it.

    I’ve been thinking about what I could write for Belltown People. I’ll see if I can come up with something good before the next meeting. I’m looking forward to it!
