Last week I wrote a post about a something new coming into the old Henry & Oscars spot, but I had no idea what. Ron mentioned he thought it was actually going to be an expansion of the dance studio next door. However last week as Cassidy and I were walking home they had the brown paper that was on the windows pulled off. We decided to venture inside and was greeted by Cassie Ulrich, the Owner/Manager of the soon to be opening Twisted Pasty restaurant. As Cassie explained it to us, the restaurant will be serving Cornish pasty’s with a twist! For those who do not know what a pasty is, which we did not either, it is a baked pastry typically with meat and vegetables placed in the center before cooking.

The restaurant will offer 15-17 different fillings at any given time. They will also be offering a take-out menu, and a full bar. Currently they are 21+ due to the size of the restaurant, but are looking to expand in the next few months into the dance studio next door to be able to offer more seating and the ability to serve all ages in the restaurant. They also plan to be open from 11am-10pm and offer brunch menu’s on the weekends. ┬áThe Grand Opening is tomorrow February 12th, 2014, as we were told by Cassie. We are very excited to try out this new Belltown restaurant, and hope you will be too.

  1. I just talked with Cassie, and it looks like they have actually pushed the Grand Opening back at least a week. Just wanted to let everyone know.
