Crash Kids is a non-competitive movie production challenge that takes participants from movie concept to movie screening over the course of a day. Attending children (ages 9–12) work with a professional media educator to create a short film in collaboration with other children in just eight hours.
Full scholarships are available for students from schools with 50% free and reduced lunch. Education@siff.net for more information about scholarships.

Schedule:
9:30am – Young filmmakers arrive at SIFF Film Center.
10:00am – Children work with their team to write, shoot and edit their films.
12:00pm – Lunch. Students should bring a sack lunch
5:30pm – World Premiere screening at the SIFF Film Center Theater.
