The Office of Mayor Ed Murray and Seattle’s Office of Arts and Culture cordially invite you to attend a Meet & Greet with the Mayor on Thursday February 6th from 6pm to 8pm at The Royal Room in Columbia City (5000 Rainier Avenue S.).
The Meet & Greet will bring together city and mayor’s office representatives with youth, youth workers and youth serving organizations within the city of Seattle. The event will feature youth performers from the city’s Creative Advantage program as well as independent youth arts organizations Youth Speaks Seattle and Freshest Roots. The interactive program will give attendees an opportunity to learn more about how city government works and learn ways that they can contact city officials and get involved in city programs. Youth and youth workers will get a chance to Meet the Mayor of Seattle and to interact with each other and learn about youth programming happening city-wide. The Meet & Greet will be free and open to those of all ages. The Royal Room is a fully accessible space.
While we will strive to accommodate everyone, space will be limited for this event so please RSVP and plan to arrive early. For more information you can contact me at 206-437-5541 or at Rahwa.Habte@seattle.gov
