My daily walks with my dog Reilly allow me to see the “progress” in the demolition of The McGuire apartment building.
Since the garage has been demoed and is now a clear space, most likely for a large crane, the rest of the remaining building has been covered in a black mesh. I’m assuming this step is to help control the dust and debris from falling on the unsuspecting heads of fellow Belltownites.
I thought it gave the remaining building a biblical look of a “death shroud” used since medieval times.
Perhaps the “Shroud of McGuire” will appear someday in an archeological museum…..or on eBay.
