I Am a Big La Nina fan.

One of the nation’s top weather forecasters is predicting the strongest La Nina event in the Northwest in more than half a century — a weather pattern likely to produce a colder, wetter winter this year.Ed O’Lenic, chief forecaster for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Climate Prediction Center near Washington, D.C., said the La Nina weather pattern is forming in the Pacific that could be the strongest since 1955.

Oh, the horror! The Tragedy!

And because it’s a slow news day. There’s  a video of an Orca eating a shark after the jump. That ought to give you some PNW Pride.
