We need your help! Our current lease runs out on January 2, 2017. Our landlord, Plymouth Housing Group, is refusing to honor our option in the current lease that grants us a five-year extension. Plymouth Housing Group is telling us to vacate by January, 2, 2017.
We have been valued members of the community and have paid our rent for thirty years. The only financial issue comes from an outrageous water billing that PHG claims we owe (and has since tripled by adding excessive late fees and penalties). Although we don’t agree we owe these charges, we have offered to PAY THE AMOUNT IN FULL to avoid the time and cost of litigation.
Please respectfully let Plymouth Housing Group and City of Seattle officials know how you feel about this plan to dispose of the Queen City Grill and its amazing employees, while wiping away 30 years of history and leadership in the Belltown community.
The public outcry and support has been overwhelming and heartwarming to all of us. Please let your voice be heard! Join us for our 30th Anniversary party and rally on Monday, November 28th, at 7 p.m. Thank you for your support!
