Seattle Police Homicide Detectives are currently investigating an overnight shooting in the 2200 block of 1st Avenue in Belltown Seattle, WA.
Per the SPD Blotter:
Homicide detectives are investigating following the shooting death of a 32-year-old man early this morning in the Belltown neighborhood.
On July 7th, just before 2:00 am, West Precinct officers responded to multiple calls of shots fired in the 2200 block of 1st Avenue.
Officers arrived and located the male victim down with gunshot wounds. Officers performed CPR on the victim until they were relieved by Seattle Fire medics.
Despite the life-saving measures, the victim was pronounced deceased while being treansported to the hospital.
Homicide and CSI detectives responded to begin their investigation. It is believed that the disturbance began in the bar and then spilled out on the street where the victim was shot.

Last night, a shooting happened in our neighborhood resulting in the death of one person.
The Belltown Community Council will be continuously concerned about the visitors and neighbors in the 98121. Demographics not withstanding, the safety of our community members is the responsibility of our civic leaders, police department and citizens alike.
