Creator’s Club- Tonight! @ City Hostel Seattle

Tomorrow is the first Wednesday of the month. And you know what that means: Belltown People Creator’s Club Meeting!  We’ll be meeting from 6-8:00pm, downstairs, at City Hostel Seattle and having Beer and Pies from Belltown Pizza. Lee has again, graciously, offered us his space at the hostel to use for this meeting.

If you are new, we welcome you! And would love to have you post on the blog and be a part of this community of people.

Who’s Invited? Creators; writers, designers, developers, business owners, photographers, artists, videographers, producers. If you create something and would like to show it off, you’re invited. If you have a voice and want to be heard, you’re invited. If you live, work, or do business in Belltown, you’re invited. If you have something that you want the people of Belltown to know about – you’re invited.

What’s going on? We’re blowing up We’re growing up. This neighborhood site will function like a community town square. Anyone can contribute and it’s owned by the community. At the meetings we will meet and greet, eat and drink, and talk through all things Belltown: hear your ideas/feedback/vision for the site, chat through some story ideas, talk/plan community mingling events, and just have a good ole time.

When is this happening? Tomorrow, Wednesday, July 6th, 2011. 6-8:00pm And every first Wednesday thereafter.

Where – We’re meeting at City Hostel Seattle. Just pop in the lobby, (located at 2327 2nd ave) and let them know you’re with the BelltownPeople group. They’ll direct you downstairs to the room we’re in.

What will you do with $?    Most neighborhood blogs don’t make a lot of cash. BelltownPeople is no exception. I think we’ve pulled in a total of $250 in banner ad revenue. Total.  We’re going to blow that cash on a beer and pizza party for this event. Any surplus money that is made from in the future will go towards a local charity. We’ll choose the charity by a vote each month! This site is not driven by a motive for profit.
