Introduction to Bicycle Repair Classes begin Tuesday, October 12 and meet every Tuesday through November 2. Have you wanted to know what happens behind the curtains of a bicycle shop? Well now you can learn to fix your own bike with the mechanics at Belltown Pull-Apart. We are offering a beginnner bicycle-maintenance course. The course consists of four two hour classes. We’ll start at the front of the bike and work through brake adjustments, drive-train (derailleurs, shifters, chain) adjustments, ball bearing overhauls (hubs, bottom brackets, and head-sets), and more. The beginner’s course costs $80 and includes use of shop tools, stands, and basic amenities (brake pads, cables, housing, etc.). Bring your bike and wrench on it, or work on a shop bicycle.
