Belltown Dog Park needs help from its neighbors

The Regrade Dog Park on 3rd & Bell is currently experiencing a poo-bag shortage. Mutt Mitts were previously supplied by the Parks Department, but budget cuts have eliminated that. All park users are asked to bring their used plastic bags to the park for use as poo-bags, but demand is larger than the supply.

If you would care to “recycle” your used plastic bags with us, we would surely appreciate it. They can be hung on the wire loops on the posts or dropped near the storage bin on the alley side.

Thank you!

would do we have to supply bags for dog owners who don’t carry their own? seems to me that all the dog owners just need to buy their own bags instead of mooching off others. that’s the way it works everywhere else.

  4. Is it really that big of a deal? Just a call for extra bags that may be lying around your house or going directly to the trash. I actually think it’s better than having our tax dollars pay for it!

  5. If you have some extra bags and feel like helping out – why not?

  6. I have just under a zillion of these plastic grocery bags in my kitchen pantry. Will they work?
