Last week Walk Score released the new 2014 rankings of Most Walkable US Cities and Neighborhoods. Our very own Belltown came in at #7 in Seattle with an overall score of 96 – A Walker’s Paradise. Seattle came in at #8 for the US Ranking of Largest Cities, stating that Seattle is rapidly becoming a world-class walkable city.
The site Walk Score using a patent-pending system methodology system for the rankings. This methodology takes into account a few things such as the walkability to get to any address, and access to public transportation.
I personally think we should have ranked higher than some of the neighborhoods that are above us in Seattle but maybe I am bias. What do you think about our ranking? Click below to see the rankings for Belltown and Seattle as a whole.
