Belltown Resident Dustin Patterson Competes for Title of “King of Rock ‘n Roll”

Long time Belltown resident Dustin Patterson, is competing Friday in the 20th annual “Seattle Invitationals” at the Crocodile, the local competition to find Seattle’s best amateur Elvis impersonator.  This is Dustin’s first time performing in this event.  When asked why he decided to enter the contest,  Dustin tells us “It’s become an annual tradition amongst my group of friends for one of us to compete in the Elvis Invitational. This year is my turn and I couldn’t be more excited!”

There are 20 amateur “Elvis” this year performing at the Crocodile, in front of a live band “Kentucky Rain”.  This years MC is KING-5’s Jim Dever and there will also be special guest performers the Graceland Five and singer Cheryl Serio.
