It’s Second Friday, and that means it’s time for the Belltown Art Walk! On Friday, May 9 from 6-7:30 p.m start your walk at Belltown Community Center to pick your map and enjoy Kick-off festivities. There will be snacks, drinks, and live music by electric violinist Pasquale and great new art. As you go around the neighborhood, collect stickers by visiting the different venues, and then drop off your map at Sassafras for a raffle drawing!

This month Belltown Community Center brings you new art of international relevance. “rEvolution, UKRAINE” is a new collection of photographs and prints from the current events in revolutionary Ukraine. On the heels of several fearless field photographers, we time-travel through phantasmagoric landscapes of Independence Square in candlelight, drum circles of EuroMaidan City, walls of raven-and-metal-clad paramilitary troops, barricades, and billowing tire pyres. Some of this work has been featured in the National Geographic.

Also on display are photographs by Richard B. Mann and Alejandro Dzul, and acrylic and prismacolor pieces by Aubry Kae Andersen. Prints are also available.

Additionally, Belltown Community Center t-shirts are available for only $10 each! Men’s and Women’s sizes are available in dark blue, pink, green and brown.

It’s going to be a fun night; we look forward to seeing you!
